EU (RAPEX)
In Nov. 2021, the EU recalled 169 products in 17 categories. The most recalled products corresponded to three categories – Toys (51), Protective equipment (29) and Motor vehicles (24). Most of the recalled products came from China (114). And the main risks were chemical(32) and injuries(32). The chart on the right shows the breakdown per product category.
USA (CPSC)
In Nov. 2021, the US recalled 15 products in 4 categories. The most recalled products corresponded to 1 categories – Hobby/sports equipment(8) . Most of the recalled products came from the China (5). And the main risks were fire hazard(3), choking hazard(2),crash and injury hazards(2). The chart on the right shows the breakdown per product category.
